New orders for a million within 6 months (case study KOVO PRODUCT)
In 2022, we approached potential customers in Germany and Switzerland for a Czech engineering company. The result of six months of cooperation are orders worth CZK 1 million. Other contracts are under negotiation.
The company KOVO PRODUKT s.r.o. is dedicated to precision engineering production. Its specialization is piece and small-batch production of machined parts, including surface treatments.
Recently, the company has invested in new production capacities, metrology and digitization. This has improved productivity and streamlined the way production is managed. Most of the production is already going to the Swiss market.
The goal of the project was to find new customers for KOVO PRODUCT in Germany and Switzerland.
1. We determine the target group
We started by identifying the range of companies in Germany and Switzerland that might be interested in cooperation.
Specifically, we focused on machine and machinery manufacturers who purchase machined parts.
2. We create a scenario
Even though we are based on our experience, we always adapt the call script (call scenarios) to the given client and his needs.
We prepared the call script this time as well in order to achieve two goals:
- Get consent from as many companies as possible for a meeting or at least for sending an informational e-mail.
- Have the opportunity to speak with the called person . (In the case of KOVO PRODUKT, these were the heads of purchasing and production, directors and executives.)
3. We address selected companies
Communication with potential customers took place in German . When calling, we appeared as KOVO PRODUCT.
During the phone calls, we sorted out companies that were not interested in cooperation as quickly as possible. For the client, this meant:
- no rejections
- communication only with companies where there was potential for cooperation
Summary and results
We started the project at the beginning of 2022 and finished it in June. The budget for its implementation was CZK 150,000. And the results?
- The company acquired eight new customers within 6 months.
- These customers brought the company orders worth CZK 1,000,000 .
- Other customers and orders are pending.
- Thanks to the Intedat application, the company had a perfect overview of the progress of the project.
