How We Mapped Czech Industry
When creating the ranking for Svět průmyslu (World of Industry) magazine, we used analytical tools from the Intedat application – the same tools available to our clients.
We focused on companies with industrial NACE codes that published their unconsolidated turnover for 2023 in publicly available financial statements.
The result? A unique perspective on who actually manufactures in the Czech Republic and for how much.
Škoda Auto’s Unshakeable Position
With a turnover of 600 billion crowns, Škoda Auto maintains an untouchable position as the leader of Czech industry. For perspective: This amount represents almost three times the turnover of second-place AGROFERT (211 billion) and is nearly twice as high as the total turnover of the last 40 companies in the ranking combined.
The Mladá Boleslav automaker thus confirms that even in the era of slowly emerging electromobility and automotive industry transformation, it remains the Czech number one.
