Entry requirements and medical report
According to the website, most courses require completed compulsory schooling and a minimum age of 18. A work-related medical report no older than 6 months must be submitted before the course starts and before refresher training; it is required for the courses for load slingers, electricians, operators of powered industrial trucks, construction, agricultural and forestry machinery, chainsaw operators, scaffolders and work at height. For construction, forestry and agricultural machinery the company points out that without a driving licence the certificate is issued only with a restriction to the workplace; for forklift trucks a driving licence is required only for type W2.
Course completion and certificates issued
Depending on the type, courses end with a written test, some also with an oral and practical exam. Graduates receive a document under § 16 of Act No. 124/2006 Coll. on occupational health and safety: a licence (for example a scaffolder licence, a powered industrial truck operator licence or a load slinger licence), a certificate for electricians, or a written certificate, for example for construction, forestry and agricultural machinery, mobile elevating work platforms and lifting equipment.
Repeated training intervals
The website also lists the statutory intervals for each course. Depending on the profession, repeated training takes place every 12 months (scaffolders, mobile elevating work platforms, work at height), 24 months (employee health and safety) or 36 months (for example machinery, chainsaws, forklift trucks, load slingers and lifting equipment). For professions with a licence, refresher training is repeated every 5 years.
Prices
The company publishes its prices directly with the courses. Basic courses start at around €100 per person (for example load slingers, mobile elevating work platforms, lifting equipment) and reach €220 (work at height) or €230 (chainsaw in timber harvesting) for more demanding professions; for construction machinery the price is tiered by the number of machines. Repeated training costs €25 and refresher training €50 per person. Health and safety training for employees, BTS and fire protection are priced by agreement, and the final price also depends on the number of participants.
Registration and training format
Registration is possible through the online application form under each course, by filling in the downloadable application form from the Documents section, by email or by phone. The place and format of training are a matter of agreement and depend on the number of participants: a course can take place on the company’s premises, directly at the client’s company or online.
Partners and insurance advice
On its website the company lists as a partner the retailer SVET OOPP, which offers certified personal protective equipment, equipment for work at height, safety signage and special clothing. On a separate page the company also offers advice on choosing liability insurance for damage caused to third parties.
Ownership and other registered activities
According to the commercial register, the shareholders are Tomáš Filo and Ing. Andrea Filo, each with a contribution of €2,500; the share capital of €5,000 is fully paid up. Both have served as managing directors since the company was founded, and each of them acts on its behalf independently. Besides training, the register also lists preparatory and finishing construction work, brokerage, retail and wholesale trade, and out-of-school educational activities.
